Clinical Research Professional Certificate

Program Description

The clinical research professional certificate will prepare graduates to function as well-qualified, entry-level, clinical research professionals (CRPs). Students will receive the necessary preparation in clinical research site procedures, governmental and local regulatory affairs, experimental design and statistics, technical reading and writing skills focusing on clinical research applications, and bioethics education to be successful as entry level CRPs. Training will be practical and concentrate on job skills necessary to become employed and advance as a CRP. Training will also cover areas important in preparing for, BTEC 2260  the certifying examinations of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA). (Program Length: 3 Semesters Minimum)

In order to be eligible for admission, the applicant must meet one of the following criteria: 1) current certification or licensure in a health care field or 2) a diploma/degree in science or a health care field.

Potential entry level positions in research programs at major hospitals, clinics, contract research organizations (CROs), and large medical practices
