The Floral Designer certificate is designed for students who want to move quickly towards a floral career. Students learn basic design skills and the correct use of floral supplies and equipment. Students also become familiar with wedding and event planning as well as how to profitably run a floral business. Technical courses apply to the degree or diploma program in Environmental Horticulture. This certificate does not qualify for financial aid as it does not meet minimum hour requirements. (Program Length: 3 Semesters Minimum)
Regulations published by the U.S. Department of Education require institutions that participate in the Title IV student financial assistance programs to report certain information about students who enrolled in Title IV-eligible educational programs, two years earlier, that lead to gainful employment in a recognized occupation (GE Programs).
